We are now looking for a highly experienced and communicatively skilled Manager of Finance and Business Control for a position offering strategic and operational involvement in our largest unit, a global network and direct management of the Finance Department in Gimo with the aim to become best in class when it comes to unit performance.
Key performance areas
In this role you strive to strengthen the strategic development and performance of the Gimo finance organization as well as the production unit. You will also develop the Finance team and run financial processes within the Sandvik Machining Solutions (SMS) production units, both in Gimo and in Sandviken.
Your responsibilities also include:

Providing business performance analysis of past, present and future trends, risks and opportunities from a financial perspective
Ensuring completeness, correctness and timeliness in financial processes and supporting compliance with financial rules and regulations for actual, forecast and budget reporting, as well as investments and PK calculations
Driving performance management processes from a financial point of view
Supporting Gimo strategy development and execution through involvement in discussions and ad hoc analysis, where applicable
Developing relevant KPIs, reporting, comments, guidelines and training for increased understanding and awareness of performance
Motivating, leading and developing team members and employees
Being an active member of the Gimo Management Team
Contributing in projects

The position includes some traveling, which on occasion may be international.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent knowledge acquired elsewhere. You have at least five years of work experience from business controlling, a minimum of two years within production controlling and basic knowledge regarding our requirements in environment, health and safety (EHS). You are as familiar with leadership and direct management as you are with financial principles, rules and processes. General IT literacy is prerequisite, as are excellent skills in English, both written and oral.
You are a relationship-building communicator with an analytical mindset. Your managerial skills are well evolved and you thrive by influencing, leading and motivating others in order to promote change and innovation. You are a fast learner with a genuine interest in stimulating business performance from a financial point of view, and believe in proactive and, where needed, corrective actions as part of a solid business understanding. Finally, you combine these qualities with a core of customer focus, fair play and passion to win.
